Dragon (marker test 2) by RaptonX

This is my second official marker test, there were maybe 2 others beside vitriol.

I guess I am getting a good grip on markers, still a lot ot learn. Please excuse the horrid inking job, I was a little tired, and besides, its only a test.... I chose a drawing that I did not mind sacrificing for the sake of learning.

Just a generic blue dragon....nothing more..... the scanner was not big enough, and they can't get colors correct either.

Medium: Pencil, pen, marker
Tags: dragon
Draquine by RaptonX

k, the idea of combining horses and dragons has been done many many times, but I decided to make it mostly horse.

The story goes along the lines of once a dragon mating with a horse, or maybe the other way around which happened to several horses within a population. And over the years many traits were bread out except for the nice thick powerful tail, and an extra digit on each hoof.

Like dragons, the draquine possesses some magical qualities, though most possess specifically the ability to transform humans into their own kind, often when they are seeking a mate.

This particular Draquine and his story is © By me, the idea of combining dragons and horses is © to nobody since its a pretty universal concept.

Medium: digital
Tags:
RaptonX Pose 2008 by RaptonX

k, I have not drawn a full profile pic of him since 2004, and he was long overdue.

This is Rapton, obviously, and if you have not guessed he is electric, not fire based.

I'm not completely satisfied with the feet, but ah well I needed an updated pic....has a lot more expression in this one.

I'm sure this won't be the last time his anatomy gets mildly altered.

Medium: digital
Tags: dragon RaptonX
A dragoness's new mate by RaptonX

his transformation is actually voluntary. You see, he fell in love with the dragoness, and decided to become her mate forever, so in order to do so, he had to make a few "changes" with a little help from her of course. ;)

Sketched on paper, then colored in painter 9.

Medium: digital
Tags: dragon transformation
Raptorfication by RaptonX

Sketched on paper, two seperate peices, then spiced and colored in painter IX.

Now what kind of raptor it is...eh...generic I guess. I know there are some issues with perspectives as far as the desk is concerned, maybe others too, but oh well. At least the textures look nice...lol...I think
